Seminarian Education Fund

The Annual Collection for the Seminarian Education Fund took place the weekend of August 1-2 in our parish.  It is an invitation to the faithful to actively participate in the Seminarian Education of our future priests. Both your prayers and financial support are needed and encouraged.
IF YOU WISH TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION, THERE IS STILL TIME.  SIMPLY DROP YOUR GIFT IN THE OFFERTORY IN AN ENVELOPE MARKED "Seminarian Education Fund" OR STOP BY THE PARISH OFFICE.

The Diocese of Gaylord has created a culture of vocations in which men and women are encouraged to listen for, and respond to, God’s call for their lives. Those efforts are bearing fruit as reflected in the increase in the number of seminarians discerning their call to the priesthood for our diocese; from four men in 2008 to an expected fifteen this fall.  In our diocese, over $500,000 is needed each year to assist our seminarians with the many expenses related to their education, health care and programs to continue to encourage more men to consider the priesthood.
