CROP Hunger Walk

Sunday, September 18, 2016

This year's CROP Walk will begin with registration and prayers at 1:30 pm.
Walk starts at 2:00pm.
First United Methodist Church, 215 S. Center Avenue, Gaylord, MI 49735

It is time to start organizing walkers for this years CROP walk!  We need teams, we need families, we need everyone to help us build community by walking to help the hungry here at home and around the world.

Are you interested in helping people who are hurting but are not sure how? The Annual Gaylord Crop Walk needs you and there many different ways you can help.  We need walkers as individuals and groups as well as those willing to make pledges.

Here are few examples of what your pledge can do:
$25 - can provide 50 baby chicks to a village providing protein and income potential
$50 - can provide tools and seeds for 3 families to start a garden
$150 - can send 6 women to literacy classes and empower them for life

What a difference we can all make not only in our world with the funds going to Catholic Relief Services but also here in Gaylord as 25% stays right here for our own Food Pantry.    Please keep the CROP walk and all those participating in your prayers!

Are you willing to coordinate a team and collect pledges this year?  REGISTER ONLINE today - it's easy!  Questions? Contact Kelly Korson 989-370-1629 or at kelly.korson@gmail.com
