Little Flowers Girls' Club

Are you interested in seeing your daughter grow in MERCY?  COURAGE?  JOY?

The Little Flowers Girls’ Club may be just what you are looking for!

Little Flowers Girls' Club® is a Catholic program for girls ages 5 and up based on learning Catholic virtues through the lives of Catholic saints, Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Developed by a Catholic mom of eleven, Rachel Watkins, and based on Fr. Lasance's Catholic Girls' Guide, the Club strives to bring the Catholic faith alive and inspire the girls to become authentic Catholic women.

All girls Kindergarten through Fifth Grade are welcome.  We meet two Mondays a month throughout the school year at St. Mary Cathedral School. We gather at 3:00 and have a small snack (families take turns providing snack). Snack is followed by opening prayers and then a lesson that lasts roughly half an hour. During the first meeting of each month, we play games after the lesson. During the second meeting of the month, we have a craft project after the lesson. At each meeting the girls will complete activities to help them learn about a virtue and a saint and work toward earning a flower petal. We close all meetings with prayer intentions.

Past Activities Include:

  • Donations to our local Food Pantry
  • Created Christmas cards for the residents at McReynolds Hall
  • Visited McReynolds Hall and sang Christmas carols
  • Mother/Daughter Tea Party

Want to learn more?  Send your daughter to our first meeting and join us if you can.  If you like what you see, you can register your daughter for the entire year!

Meetings start in September and are held at St. Mary Cathedral School.
